Services that help you succeed

in the earliest stages of the discovery process

Are you looking for lead candidates for your target? Do you need expertise in assay development and ultra- High-Throughput Screening? Do you want your early drug discovery programme to be more efficient and time and cost effective?

The Pivot Park Screening Centre (PPSC) is equipped with advanced robotic systems and offers ultra-High-Throughput Screening (uHTS) and lab automation services to accelerate your drug discovery programmes. We perform high-throughput screens on large libraries (tens of thousands to over a million samples) and biological profiling on smaller compound sets.

We work with our customers on the basis of open communication and trust. Our extensive drug discovery experience is manifested through our workflows which are highly efficient, and able to provide the necessary flexibility to give our customers the best confirmed leads for their target.

Early drug discovery services

Assay development

We offer a proprietary chemico-biological framework to optimise primary assays such that minimal interferences occur during hit finding.

Miniaturisation & Automation

PPSC operates at the intersection of biology, chemistry and automation. Miniaturisation is key to reducing costs for screening large compound libraries.

Hit Identification

We offer state-of-the-art automation for medium to Ultra-High-Throughput Screening to find and optimise novel leads for drug development.

Hit Triaging Cascade

A major challenge in evaluating the hits from HTS campaigns is to select ‘true’ hit compounds with drug-like modes of action.

Hit Biophysical Characterisation

Our experience in biophysical assay development and expertise in interpreting the data from hit biophysical characterisation ensures direct interaction of hits with target proteins and assists with chemotype prioritisation.

Hit-to-lead Profiling

PPSC’s hit-to-lead biological profiling services support knowledge-based lead discovery programmes with existing small-molecule starting points or hit expansion post HTS campaigns.
