At Pivot Park Screening Centre, we offer state-of-the-art and flexible automation for ultra High Throughput Screening using a variety of assay formats (biochemical, cellular, biophysical) in 96-, 384- or 1536-well format to find and optimize novel chemical starting points for drug development. By outsourcing your ultra-high throughput screening campaigns to our passionate team, you can benefit from our longstanding experience with the most challenging targets and assays, pharma-standard infrastructure and operations and most importantly accelerate your lead discovery program.
Our industrial uHTS platform allows us to generate 100,000-300,000 high-quality data points per day. Besides our in-house diversity-based 300,000 IP-free compound library, we can screen your own proprietary library, or third libraries irrespective of size. We can also store a copy of your library for multiple screening campaigns.

Our uHTS lab hosts a fully automated, robotic system in an industrial set-up, to assist your drug discovery process. This is a system which runs efficient biochemical and cellular HTS assay technologies (absorbance, luminescence, fluorescence or Mass-spec based) in 384- or 1536-well formats and can produce over 300,000 data points per day.
Our advanced ultra High Throughput Screening (uHTS) system consists of 3 robot pods connected by a conveyer belt system. It features an on-line compound store with capacity for 2.5 million samples, ECHO acoustic dispensers for contact free dispensing and a wide range of instruments to perform biochemical and cellular assays in 1536- or 384-well format in a fully automated manner. Over 200,000 data samples are routinely measured per day.
Acoustic dispensing technology allows for contact-free, low-volume handling of compound solutions and facilitates online cherry-picking of active compounds. Our complete infrastructure, including fully automated data analysis software and transparent pipeline, guarantees full exploitation of high quality results.
We have many different readout technologies in-house including most conventional label-based biochemical and cellular readouts such as Flourescence, FRET/HTRF/TR-FRET, FP, Luminescence, absorption, high-content, phenotypic, as well as label-free MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry biochemical, affinity-based and cellular assays.

Most instruments are placed on carts so that the system configuration can be adapted to the needs of specific projects. This flexible docking system designed by HighRes Biosolutions® also allows for easy integration of new technologies/instruments. A custom designed safety system ensures that individual instruments can be accessed during a run.
